Product Description GreenSocs provides SystemC modeling packages that facilitate the adoption and use of the SystemC language, and provide convenience over and above the standards interfaces. The GreenSocs packages are standards based and feature rich. The packages cover a wide range of modeling requirements. Following are some examples:
GreenSocket: GreenSocket is used to facilitate the modeling of memory mapped bus sockets based on TLM-2.0
GreenControl: GreenControl is a full featured configuration and analysis output framework that works with a wide selection of tools via the SCV interface, and will support the upcoming CCI interface.
GreenReg: GreenReg provides a device and register framework to assist in the construction of device IP blocks. It greatly simplifies the description of registers and state machines for running the bus interface.
In addition to these packages, GreenSocs provides a tool component standards layer called GreenStarCore for integration within EDA tools. GreenStarCore provides support for OSCI standards such as the CCI.
Finally, GreenSocs provides contracting services for SystemC model writing based on the GreenSocs modeling packages and the appropriate standards.
Interoperability Description and Customer Benefit The combined solution will enable the use of the GreenSocs modeling packages for configuration, TLM-2.0 ports, routing, register modeling and logging in the context of the Synopsys virtual platform offerings. GreenSocs models can be imported, maintained, extended and simulated using Synopsys Innovator. Existing models can be combined with models from the Synopsys DesignWare System-Level Library.
