On Wednesday, July 26, at DAC 2006, Dr. Chi-Foon Chan, President and Chief Operating Officer of Synopsys, welcomed a standing room only crowd at Synopsys' interoperability breakfast sponsored by AMD and HP. Designers and EDA users heard industry veterans discuss the benefits and challenges of enabling interoperability for analog custom design through OpenAccess. Electronic Tools Company was presented with the sixth annual Tenzing Norgay Interoperability Achievement Award.
